14. Don't take out your camera phone to document every win. Also, don't be surprised if security takes it from you since most casino forbid taking pictures.

The reviews of Criss Angel BELIEVE put forth by Cirque Du Soleil at the Luxor have been less than stellar. Angel describes the show as being "about my life. It's Alice in Wonder. It's The Wizard of Oz. Mindfreak. It's about the demons in my head, the good that's out there, the angels and love and lust -- all that stuff mixed up." Meanwhile the director of the show, Serge Denoncourt said he was "trying to direct a show for people who love it but also for people like me who hate magic."

Yeah, you read that right. A show about Criss Angel's mind is being directed by someone who hates magic. This disconnect could be the major problem with the show that supposedly cost around $100 million. The Los Angeles Times makes it pretty clear in one of their reviews, "there is virtually nothing in "Believe" that is not better presented in another Cirque show or another magic show in Vegas."

las_vegas_strip_night_shot.jpgThe promotional scene is quiet in Las Vegas this week, they must still be napping from all that Thanksgiving Turkey. All of the daily poker tournaments are being offered at Wynn, Luxor, Monte Carlo and more. For those of you who haven't heard, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Pennsylvania made a minor mistake on a recent promotional mailing. And by minor, we mean kind of huge. The mailing sent out offered individuals $100 of freeplay each week for the month of December and two buffets meals.

The offer was supposed to be for $10 of free play a week, not $100. And the offer was only supposed to go out to just under 1,000 individuals. Instead, it went out to 55,000 people. Whoops. The casino is currently offering $100 in free play and two buffet passes to individuals redeeming this offer between now and Christmas.

See the company's official statement after the jump.
